in just a few hours, a few pulls of the seam ripper, and some good music.  Is it possible to LOVE each new quilt I make MORE than the last one?!?!

So, since I decided to make a combined blog of two of my favorite hobbies, of course I had to make my first

quilt from fabric with desserts on it!

 

For someone who can't sew a pair of pajama pants using a pattern, I think it turned out pretty well for my first one!  Maybe because I made up my own pattern!

I LOVE this quilt!  Maybe because it's my first one or maybe because it has cakes on it, or possibly a little bit of both.
