Monthly quilt wall hangings

I have been wanting to make wall hanging quilts for this fabulous hanger for almost a year now and just never found the right patterns.  Well, while in St. Louis visiting family for Christmas, I found this great book at a local quilt shop with my mom. The quilts were the perfect size for my little wall hanger.

I even got to use some of my decorative stitches on the applique.

Just awaiting a few more decorative buttons before they are fully finished.

My mom found this great bag on http://www.overstock.com/ and it is perfect to store these little quilts while awaiting their time on the wall.

Baking Painter's Tray

Combining my passions once again to create this cute baking painter's tray.  It's hard to see in the photo's, but I used the raised dots brand sticker's to make different dimension's throughout the tray.  It took about 4 hours to put the whole thing together, most of that time spent figuring out what to put where.  It turned out great though and I am very pleased with the final product!

The "Katie" bag

I got this pattern a few weeks ago from an Etsy shop and have made several bags since.  I love the pleats and the belt strap makes for a great accent fabric.

Accent fabric is Sugar and Spice by Riley Blake Designs.
All Riley Blake Designs fabric.  Love the matching pouch!

Santa Cake

Last night my husband and I opened our gifts because we will be out of town for Christmas this year.  Much to my surprise, I opened an airbrush machine from my parents!  Of course I already tried it out this morning, and here is what I made.

Ceramic Tile Art

I saw this idea in a store last week and thought I would give it a try.
It turned out great and would make a great inexpensive gift.

Key chains

Key chains...

I thought these turned out really great!  I am even looking into getting involved in a craft fair.  There is one coming up in the Salt Lake City area in a couple weeks that is free, which would be a great place to start.

Each one only takes about 10 minutes to make!
